Spaceman “Zeno” Watch – designed by Andre Le Marquand

Spaceman “Zeno” Watch – designed by Andre Le Marquand

Well, this is a Spaceman watch, designed by the amazing architect and designer of watches, Andre Le Marquand.

The first Spaceman watch was the Oval one ( you can find it elsewhere on the site ) in 1972, but – in my
opinion – this series here, called the “Audacieuse” range were utterly superior. The Audacieuse series was a rectangular series of watches and was launched in 1974.

This version below is a “zeno” – it has the day and date (making it ultra rare!) and comes in it’s original Spaceman red pouch with tags.

This particular watch is extremely rare, and watch lovers (or should I say Spaceman lovers!) know its worth – i.e.more than mere cash!

ENJOY this marvellous example of a Spaceman!

(Have patience – this is a heavy page cause of all the photos and may take a while to load up – I think it was
worth adding them).

Hmmm…

I’d love to talk to you Nic, but not about ladies Spacemen watches. Alas I have none you see…

I’ve had ladies watches on the site before, but there just seems to be limited demand for them.

Would you like me to try and track you down a ladies model? Any particular colour / style?

Hello Graeme! Good to hear from you!

I KNOW you like the wine red one! I don’t have one in stock… but you’ll be the first person I mail about it. One thing about the leather strap Spaceman watches tho – ok, they are the pinnacle of cool. But you can’t REALLY wear them as an everyday watch, otherwise the leather perishes a bit. Bear in mind, these watches are 30+ years old. In other words, it’s a “special occasion” watch in my opinion. I sport one of the steel-strapped watches (one with a black face, one with the black and white stripes) and they are perfick for every day use…

Anyhoo, hope it’s a bit warmer in Blighty than it is over here in chilly Scandinavia. Minus 2 this morning and snow in Stockholm. WTF!

Good Day

Love the Spaceman wristwatches!

The band on my Spaceman “Spaceman Audacieuse” is damaged and needs replacing… Do you have the watch strap (band) for purchase separately? Or do you know of a source for bands/parts for these awesome Spaceman watches?

Ideally I would like to find a white leather strap (band)…

Thanking You In Advance For Your Time

Cheers
Lars
